Tuna Avocado Thai salad
Serves 2
Marinade
6 tbls of tamari
6 tbls of rice wine vinegar
8 drops of sesame oil
Mix together in a bowl, add in 100g yellowfin tuna steak. Allow to marinade for 20 min (do not leave any longer as this will start the cooking process).
Grill tuna for 2 minutes on each side on a very hot plate. Remove from heat and rest for 5 min
Dressing
4 tbls tamari
Juice from ½ lime
½ tsp of grated ginger
½ of palm sugar
6 drops of sesame oil
Mix together
Salad
2 cups of mixed lettuce
½ avocado
Place salad leaves on 2 plates, add sliced avocado. Slice tuna against the grain place on salad add a little dressing then sprinkle with sesame seeds
