A tropical fruit originally from Florida. A brown leathery look on the outside, but with a rich creamy vibrant inside. Fruit should be eaten when very soft too touch. known for its high antioxidant properties, and rich in fibre. this sweet caramel flavoured fruit can be eaten on its own or can be added to smoothies, or any fruit dish. its high in vitamins C, A, and B. Contains minerals such as potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium and copper.
I enjoy mine with some coconut yoghurt and fresh lime juice. Lookout for this at markets, don’t be afraid to try something new.
